Bulk Plant Operator

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Bulk Plant Operator to join their team based in Aberdeen on a full-time, temporary basis.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the operation of receiving and delivery of bulk/palletised material.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers.
• Co-ordination of transport and movement of deliveries.
• Minor maintenance and care duties of silos/plant.
• Stock control.
• Warehouse duties including loading/unloading trucks regular stock checks and general housekeeping.
• Responsibility for identifying non-conforming material and consigning it to the quarantine area, submission of relevant reports with subsequent disposal of material.
• Supervision of contract labour, when required.
• Purchasing of warehouse-related materials.
• Raising and control of all related paperwork.
• Ensuring implementation of quality programme within sphere of responsibility.

Person Specification:

• Forklift License (Desired).
• Driving Licence (Desired).

Working Hours:

• 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hour week with 1 hour lunch).
