P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Tank Operative to join their team based in Aberdeenshire on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Fast turnaround of maintenance on offshore DNV tank containers.
- Potential to work on internals and confined spaces- general cleaning of tank containers.
- Grinding and painting of equipment.
- Pre hire maintenance/checks on units.
- Return maintenance/checks on units.
- Polishing of internals on tank containers.
- Reporting of damage/pitting on returned units.
- Working on excel to report on/off hires of units.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong willingness to learn and make a success out of the role.
- Experience using IT systems.
- Experience operating power tools.
- Working at heights (if course has not been completed, this can be arranged for the right candidate).
- IOSH Approved confined spaces (if course has not been completed, this can be arranged for the right candidate).
- Forklift license (desired).
- Manual Handling (training can be arranged for the right candidate if this has not been completed).
