P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently recruiting a Workshop Assistant to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role Summary:
You will be responsible for assembling and preparing mechanical components for pre-assembly and final assembly. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assemble and prepare items for painting.
- Inspect, prepare, and assemble painted components.
- Perform leak testing on components.
- Carry out general workshop/housekeeping and stores duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Basic use of hand tools.
- Valid driving licence.
- Mechanical experience gained through previous employment or personal pursuits. (Desirable)
- Forklift licence (training can be provided). (Desirable)
- High school education or equivalent. (Desirable)
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday – Friday 08:00 - 16:30.
